This one sounds like the worst VIP membership offer ever. For one, it has the dumbest welcome bonus: two glasses of wine. Whoopee! As if everybody drinks wine! Apparently everybody who eats there does, bec they think it's so clever/cool...whatever!! It smacks of "cheap" to me!!
The other thing is, unless you're a regular patron there, the card has little to offer but demands a lot!!
Demanding offers that you have to pay for just don't make sense to me!
These are their demands:
Sounds like too many terms and conditions to me! Okay, so maybe the dress code is not so bad but what's with the no delivery?
Also, it's only a buy one, get one free offer so if you're not a regular patron, you will be actually giving them more than you're getting because their food prices are higher by far than anywhere else you may go. They're essentially getting new customers to visit regularly in the hopes of recouping the cost of the card.
SO how's that for a VIP membership? Wish I hadn't bought it!!
If you want some discounted food, split the price of a Mario's or Pizza Boys VIP membership card, there at least you know for sure you'll get your money's worth without all the stress of additional terms and conditions. Also someone recently gave the Valpark CR a bad review in the press citing poor customer service. Do you really want to have to deal with that too, I wish I didn't!
And if you really crave Chinese/Asian dishes there are lots of other places to go with better food, better prices and better service.
Here's the service review:
Food quality/taste: so-so
Quantity: just not there
Price: too high for the taste
Waitresses: Ditsy, incompetent and cavalier
Wait: too long
Ambience: non-existent when the place is crawling obnoxious loud customers
The last straw: no chocolate mints
Music: great until you hear their live "band"
I sampled a few different items on the menu:
chicken wantons in garlic sauce (garlic taste-great, garlic crunch-not!),
fish in sweet and sour sauce (the best thing we had), lemon chicken fry rice (undercooked, and overrated), and vegetable something (all the veggies were undercooked)
All in all, it was not worth the trip, and we had to wait for our bill too even though the waitress assured us she would be right back!
I will not be going back!

These are their demands:
- Semiformal dress code
- You must bring another guest with you
- No delivery orders
- You have to bring the whole card with you each time!
