This is a new restaurant just opposite UWI St. Augustine (walk out of North East Gate and cross bus route) which serves Indian and creole cuisine for breakfast and lunch.
Started off: pretty good, paratha was delightful and curry was pretty good too
Now: not so hot! Paratha is getting worse, and curry sides no longer taste great, plus they never seem to have mango! What's paratha without curry or massala mango?!
Overall impression: Breakfast: They cannot make sada very well, especially the whole wheat version, it tends to look and taste very "doughy" but their breakfast sides are still worth getting, which is probably why they usually sell out except for a few things Lunch: In the words of one friend, I won't go there unless I am desperate, because the food just doesn't taste good to warrant the price you have to pay for it. I used to get the paratha quite often but now I prefer to do without as much as I hate missing out on curry. Prices: Not so perfect! There are cheaper places with comparable food quality for both breakfast and lunch. Ambience: They have that in spades. Too bad the food will leave you feeling cheated.
