It's just another measure of his brilliance that Brian Lara now joins 15 other West Indian legends in the International Cricket Council Hall of Fame.
Pity that he couldn't share his talent with us for longer, but he made the right choice when he did - of course he could do more as a consultant if the WICB would let him.....their loss!
