Watch out for Hurricane Emily

Emily is expected to gather strength and become a hurricane by Saturday. Trinidad is on H Watch and Tobago is on H Warning right now.
Stock up on your candles, batteries for flashlights, canned foods.

It's a hurricane already. But thankfully it wasn't when it passed over Tobago and Grenada.

Some Hurricane news from Yahoo.

Emily struck hard in Grenada, especially in the two northern parishes, St. Patrick's and St. Andrew's, and the outlying islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

In Trinidad, there was widespread flooding and at least one house was washed away in the eastern community of Arima.

I guess the Blanchisseuse river flooded over much more than I realized.
